November is often associated with gloom and cold, but at Villa Park Med & Spa the past month was the most colorful and hottest period of this autumn! Every weekend took our Guests to a completely different corner of the globe.
This month we went on a fascinating culinary journey – from America, through the Balkans and France, all the way to exotic Asia.
American Dream and Halloween
We started November with great energy in American style. The Halloween weekend was marked by comfort food. At the Live Cooking station, juicy mini burgers prepared fresh before Guests' eyes reigned. It was casual, tasty, and very satisfying – perfect for the beginning of a colder month.
Oriental Flavors of Asia
The second weekend took us to the Far East. Guests could try dishes inspired by the cuisines of Thailand, Japan, China, and Vietnam. The absolute hit of the evening was live-cooked ramen – a rich, ingredient-packed broth that warmed better than a blanket.
Balkan Feast
Mid-month brought us back to Europe, but in its most hospitable version. We explored Croatia, Serbia, and Bulgaria culinarly. Classics such as ćevapčići, Serbian fish soup, and peppery ajvar appeared on the tables. The surprise of the evening was exquisite gourmet mini burgers with ham and cheese – little works of art that amazed with their flavor combinations.
French Elegance
The penultimate weekend of November belonged to connoisseurs. French cuisine impressed with its finesse. Besides classic dishes, the true spectacle was the live preparation of the famous crêpes suzette. The flaming dessert with a hint of orange was the perfect finale to an elegant dinner.
Spanish Fiesta
We ended November with the hot rhythms of Spain. The last Saturday dinner smelled of sunshine and the Mediterranean. The main attraction was freshly fried tortillas with various toppings, which made us forget about the autumn weather outside.
Each of these dinners was accompanied by a dedicated offer in our Saltaris SPA – from pumpkin rituals, through wine baths, to treatments with French technology.
