Although we admired the golden Polish autumn outside the windows, inside Villa Park Med. & Spa, there was a truly international atmosphere. The past month was an intense journey through diverse culinary cultures for us.
Every weekend in October offered our Guests completely different experiences – from fiery Mexico, through sunny the Balkans and Italy, to the soothing tastes of native cuisine.
How did this culinary marathon look? Here is what happened in the Preludium Restaurant in recent weeks.
Balkan hospitality
We started October with a bang, moving to southern Europe. On October 4th, the flavors of Croatia, Serbia, and Bulgaria reigned supreme. Our Guests could try aromatic ćevapčići, Serbian fish soup, and the brilliant ajvar. The star of the Live Cooking station was gourmet mini hamburgers – small works of art with ham and cheese, prepared live by the Head Chef.
Mexican fiesta
On the second weekend (October 11th) we turned up the heat! It was spicy, colorful, and joyful. The Mexican evening brought authentic flavors of Latin America. During the culinary show, mini tortillas with grilled chicken and fresh vegetables were created right before your eyes.
Polish slow rhythm
After exotic travels, on October 18th we slowed down, celebrating the best of our tradition. The "slow rhythm" weekend was a tribute to Polish cuisine. The dinner based on local ingredients recalled the tastes of childhood, and the absolute hit was the pierogi Live Cooking. Guests could admire the art of making perfect pierogi and enjoy them straight from the water. It was a time for true relaxation.
Italian dolce vita
We said goodbye to October in style, moving to sunny Italy. At Café Swing, we welcomed Guests with a glass of prosecco, and in the evening the Preludium Restaurant transformed into a trattoria. The Head Chef served fresh, homemade pasta with a wealth of additions, prepared on the spot at the live cooking station.
Thank you for being with us on this journey! October proved that autumn in Ciechocinek can taste like ripe grapes, spicy chili peppers, and homemade pierogi. We invite you to follow our upcoming events as part of WEEKENDS WITH THEMED DINNERS – at Villa Park, we always care to nourish not only the body but also the senses.
